theo như thầy mình nói thì có công thức diễn tả mối liên hệ giữa 3 đại lượng này (nghĩa là biết được 1 đại lượng sẽ suy ra được 2 cái còn lại) , mình kiếm hoài mà vẫn không thấy, không biết có công thức liên hệ này không nữa.

Nhắc lại định nghĩa mô men quán tính và mô men chống uốn:

Mô men quán tính của hình phẳng đối với trục ngang Ox là Jx:
Jx = Sf(y.y.dF)
Mô men quán tính của hình phẳng đối với trục đứng Oy là Jy:
Jy = Sf(x.x.dF)

Trong đó:
Sf là tích phân lấy trên toàn bộ diện tích F.
x và y là khoảng cách từ vi phân diện tích dF đến trục Oy và Ox.

Mô men chống uốn của hình phẳng đối với trục ngang Ox là Wx:
Wx = Jx/ymax
Mô men chống uốn của hình phẳng đối với trục đứng Oy là Wy:
Wy = Jy/xmax

Trong đó xmax và ymax là khoảng cách từ điểm xa nhất của hình phẳng đến trục Oy và Ox.

Qua đó thấy rằng mô men quán tính và mô men chống uốn của hình phẳng phụ thuộc vào sự phân bố các phần tử của hình phẳng so với hai trục tọa độ Ox, Oy.
Diện tích hình phẳng chỉ thể hiện độ lớn (phần chiếm chỗ) của hình phẳng.
Hai hình có cùng diện tích nhưng cách phân bố diện tích so với hai trục tọa độ Ox, Oy khác nhau thì Jx, Jy, Wx, Wy cũng khác nhau. Hình có phân bố diện tích càng xa trục tọa độ thì các trị số này càng lớn.
Bởi vậy khi cho diện tích là F thì nói chung không có công thức nào tính Jx, Jy, Wx, Wy theo F.

Ví dụ hình chữ nhật cạnh ngang là b, cạnh đứng là h, gốc tọa độ tại trọng tâm hình:
Diện tích là F = b.h
Jx = b.h.h.h/12 = F.h.h/12
Jy = h.b.b.b/12 = F.b.b/12
Wx = b.h.h/6 = F.h/6
Wy = h.h.b/6 = F.b/6
Nếu chỉ biết F thì không thể suy ra b và h để tính Jx, Jy, Wx, Wy.

Trường hợp đặc biệt là hình tròn (gốc tọa độ tại trọng tâm hình), nếu biết F thì có thể tính Jx, Jy, Wx, Wy theo F.
F = Pi.r.r
Suy ra bán kính hình tròn r = Căn bậc hai (F/Pi)
Từ đó thay vào các công thức sau để tính Jx, Jy, Wx, Wy theo F
Jx = Jy = Pi.r.r.r.r/4
Wx = Wy = Pi.r.r.r/4

2. Mặt cắt hình tròn
Jx= (pi*d^4)/64
Wx=pi*d^3/32
Mặt cắt ngang hình vành khăn đường kính ngoài D, dk trong d
Jx= pi*D^4/64(1-a^4)
Wx=pi*d^3/32(1-a^4)
Trong đó a = d/D
Với các loại thép hình thì đằng sau cuốn giáo trình sức bền có bảng tra Moomen quán tính và momen chống uốn tương ứng với từng tiết diện đó
