CSWA

CSWP

A Certified SolidWorks Professional is an individual that has successfully passed our advanced skills examination. Each CSWP has proven their ability to design and analyze parametric parts and moveable assemblies using a variety of complex features in SolidWorks.
CSWP-Sheet Metal

The completion of the Certified SolidWorks Professional Sheet Metal exam shows that an individual has successfully passed a skills test that demonstrates their ability to use the sheet metal tools inside of SolidWorks. Employers can be confidant that an individual possessing this certification understands the set of tools inside SolidWorks that will aid in the design of sheet metal components.
CSWP-Surfacing

SolidWorks software includes many advanced surfacing tools. The Certified SolidWorks Professional Surfacing Specialist exam is used to gauge someone’s ability to utilize these tools in the creation of complex surfaces. Successful completion of this exam also shows the user’s ability to troubleshoot and fix broken surface bodies, or imported bodies that are incorrect.
CSWSP-FEA

The Certified SolidWorks Professional Simulation Specialist exam is designed to test an individual’s complete understanding of Simulation tools inside SolidWorks. Candidates who successfully pass this certification exam have demonstrated the ability to set up, run, and examine the results of various types of Simulation scenarios. They also have demonstrated the ability to interpret the various results available to them in SolidWorks Simulation.

Online Testing Process
All certification testing is done online. The process is as follows:

Step 1: Purchase your exam(s)
In order to take an online certification exam you must first visit our webstore and make a purchase.

Step 2: Take your exam(s)
Once you've purchased an online exam, you will receive two emails. One indicating that your testing account has been created, the other a receipt of your transaction. To begin your exam, simply download the virtualtester client as instructed and follow the directions. You will also need the exact information (login and password) that was supplied in the email notice.

Step 3: Print your certificate(s)
When you achieve a certification, SolidWorks provides 24-hour access to your electronic certificates. Each certified user gets a custom online account where they can view, download and print their certificates.

Note:

* All exam purchases are tied to one email. If a customer purchases more than one exam, that person may transfer the credit to another user when logged into their virtualtester account.
* If you experience any difficulty, send a detailed email to certification@solidworks.com.

Note: You must use at least SolidWorks 2008 sp3.1 for this exam. Any use of a previous version will result in the inability to open some of the testing files.
